We are having our baby today! No it is not a joke. :) I woke Tom up about 3a to time my contractions. They were 5 1/2 minutes apart. Called nanny and drove to the hospital. I thought for sure they were going to tell me I was in false labor. Not the case, I have been started on antibiotics for the positive beta strep and the resident will be into brake my water at 11:30. At 5 this morning I was a 4! Woo hoo! 11:35am: Water has been broken. Let it begin! Contractions have slowed down so this should help if not doctor will be reevaluating and starting some pitocin. I never knew jello and italian ice could taste so yummy!

2p: Contractions are now 3-4 minutes apart. Thank goodness the epidural finally worked.lol The first time it was done it only nummed the right side of my body. How funny is that?
3:15p: wow that went fast! Pam my nurse checked me. With a big smile on her face she said I am a 9. Woo Hoo! Will be ready to push any minute. And sure enough I am ready to have this baby. We are waiting on Dr Miller to finish up an emergency c-section.
4:16: First contraction and 2 pushes and walla our baby is here!
